Hey there, I’m Julie Bravo. I made the journey from Cuba to Canada over two decades ago, and it’s been quite a ride. With 15 years of lash extension experience under my belt, I wholeheartedly believe that trust is built on experience, especially when it comes to your lashes. In the past, I’ve run Solisa Tanning and Envy Laser, but my heart has always belonged to lash extensions. It’s not just what I do; it’s what I love. Let’s chat lashes and make your eyes shine

Before your lash extension appointment, there are a few things you can do to ensure a successful and comfortable experience:
Clean Lashes: Make sure your lashes are clean and free from any makeup, oils, or residue. Use a mild, oil-free cleanser to wash your lashes thoroughly.
Remove Contact Lenses: If you wear contact lenses, it’s a good idea to remove them before your appointment.
Avoid Caffeine: It’s a good idea to avoid caffeine before your appointment, as it can make your eyes twitch or flutter, making it harder for the lash technician to work.
Arrive Makeup-Free: If possible, come to your appointment with a clean, makeup-free face. This will help the lash technician with the application process.
Plan Your Time: Be punctual and plan your time well, as a lash extension appointment can take a couple of hours. Arriving on time ensures that you get the full benefit of the appointment.
Discuss Your Preferences: If you have specific preferences for the type and style of lash extensions you want, discuss these with your lash technician before the appointment.
Be Prepared to Relax: During the appointment, you’ll need to keep your eyes closed for an extended period, so bring something to occupy your time, like music, an audiobook, or simply relax and enjoy the experience.
Maintaining your lash extensions is crucial for their longevity and your overall comfort. Here’s a list of how to maintain your lash extensions:
Avoid Water for 24-48 Hours: Allow the adhesive to fully cure by avoiding water on your lashes for the first 24 to 48 hours after the application.
Gently Cleanse Your Lashes: Use an oil-free, gentle lash cleanser and a clean brush or lint-free applicator to clean your lashes daily. Gently remove debris and makeup without rubbing or tugging.
Use Oil-Free Products: Stick to oil-free makeup removers, cleansers, and eye creams. Oil-based products can break down the adhesive.
Avoid Waterproof Mascara: You don’t need mascara with extensions, but if you must, use a water-based, lash extension-safe mascara. Avoid waterproof mascara, as it’s difficult to remove and can damage the extensions.
Be Gentle: Avoid rubbing or pulling on your lashes. Treat them delicately to prevent damage or premature shedding.
No Curling or Perming: Do not use eyelash curlers or get additional lash perms while you have extensions, as this can damage both your natural lashes and the extensions.
Avoid Steam: Limit your exposure to steam, whether it’s from hot showers, saunas, or hot yoga, as it can weaken the adhesive.
Regular Lash Fills: Schedule regular lash fill appointments, typically every 2-3 weeks, to maintain a full look as your natural lashes shed and new ones grow.
